Aloe ferox, also known as Cape aloe or Bitter aloe, is a woody aloe species indigenous to South Africa. This natural ingredient has been used for hundreds of years in medicines and cosmetics. It is rich in anti-oxidants with anti-inflammatory properties making it ideal for soothing sunburn, irritated and blemished skin as it also contains antimicrobial and anti-viral properties. Combined with Rooibos extract, it is perfect for soothing and conditioning hot, irritated skin and scalp. Fragranced with fresh aloe.
